More than 3.4 million American is diagnosed with epilepsy (3 million adults and 470,000 children) Yet, unless you or someone you love is personally affected, you may know little about it, or hold common misconceptions about the illness.

For those living with the condition, education is the key to a better quality of life. Learning about available treatments, symptom management, and coping techniques gives those with epilepsy the tools to live at their best. In an effort to eliminate these fears, and in order to help those with epilepsy achieve a better quality of life, our nonprofit provides educational materials and sponsors educational events, for every audience, at every level of epilepsy knowledge, completely free of charge.
